Welcome to the English Language Institute

The mission of the English Language Institute (ELI) is to help students improve their academic English skills quickly, through dynamic and interactive instruction in small, 个性化课程. We serve students from high beginning to advanced levels of English language proficiency.

We offer 两个 programs:

The Intensive English Program serves students with high-beginning to low-advanced English proficiency levels. After completing the Intensive English Program, students can transition into our Excel Program coursework.

The Excel Program is coursework that counts toward your 中北书院 degree or could be transferred to another institution.

Our Excel Program and our Intensive English Program are designed to serve students at different stages of their English learning journey. Your English proficiency will determine your track, which can be completed during one, 两个, 或者三个学期.
